In-School Bake Sale
Home economics students will be hosting a holiday-themed bake sale on Monday. If you are interested in purchasing delicious baked goods, please bring extra money to school. Prices per item range between 25 cents and 50 cents and all proceeds benefit the local food shelter.

Former Teacher Passes Away
The Lexington Middle School mourns the loss of one of its former teachers, Lynn Dyson. Lynn was a beloved teacher of music for forty years. On Friday she passed away after a long battle with cancer. She will be dearly missed. Services will be held tomorrow, location TBA.

Happy Halloween!
Though this post has nothing to do with Halloween. The Lexington Middle School will serve as a polling station next week for Election Day. Voters, please park in the faculty parking lot and enter the school through the gymnasium entrance. We look forward to seeing you all.

Welcome new students!
We are excited to have our largest incoming class of sixth graders ever at the Lexington Middle School. This a new experience and you will undoubtedly grow as a person and as a learner. We wish you all good luck and prosperity that reflects the hard work you put into your studies.

Greenhouse Restored! Thank You to all those who helped out!
The now more than two-year project to restore the Greenhouse has been completed. It will be available for use by students, faculty and staff for the beginning of the upcoming year. We would like to offer a gratuitous thank you to everyone who made this possible. We are so happy to see members of the school faculty and members of the community working together for the common good. You have all set positive examples for the students.
